The device i.e. carrier plate (10), has a holder (20) arranged at a planar base plate (12). The holder includes retainers (26) for pins, which are arranged at a base body of a sensor device e.g. rain sensor. The base body of the sensor device is pivoted around a rotational axis in a function position by the pins, which are accommodated in the retainers. The rotational axis coincides with the pins. A silicon pad of the sensor device face towards a pane, and is provided in contact with the pane in the function position. An independent claim is also included for a sensor device.
