The footrest has a folding device comprising a footboard and a supporting beam, which is movably connected with the footboard. The folding device is connected with a motor so that footboard is automatically folded in a motor driven manner. The folding device is connected with a table part (7) in a movable manner. A sliding rail is provided at a lower side of the footboard. An intermediate beam is connected with the footboard via the sliding rail in a movable manner. The footboard or the supporting beam comprises multiple magnets.
