The rotor (1) has a pivoting bearing with a measuring equipment for determination of tilting of a thrust bearing (6) for determination of imbalance of the rotor, where the rotor rotates about a vertical axis and rests on the thrust bearing. The rotor is not held by an axle, and comprises a hole in middle. A structure of the rotor is protected with respect to energy transfer between the rotor and a motor or generator (4) by a gear wheel (7), a chain and a belt. A column runs by the hole in the middle and supports a vacuum chamber (2).
