The station (1) has a stator and a rotor (13) i.e. permanent magnet working unit, designed so that electrical energy is induced in the stator in a generator operation during moving the rotor from a high position to a low position by gravitational force influence. The energy is converted into potential energy for the rotor in a motor operation during moving the rotor from the low position into the high position by electromagnetic force influence. A track-supported transport system (7) guides the rotor along a vertical conveying working section (S) close to the high and/or low position. The stator is an inductive component.
