The composite smart card (10) has a carrier (100) with a chip module (120) which is electrically connected with an induction coil (110). A security guard interface (130) is provided with a mechanical security guard module (132) which is connected with the chip module, so as to control the operation of the chip module. A control unit (134) is connected with a mechanical security guard module, so as to control the operation of the mechanical security guard module. An independent claim is included for method for controlling composite smart card.
