The photovoltaic system has several photovoltaic modules (22a-22c) with spacing (30), which are mounted on surface (28) of carrier (16). A cooling medium supply installation (40) is provided to conduct a cooling medium (46) into intermediate space (31) between photovoltaic module and carrier. Several photovoltaic modules are arranged adjacent to each other along lateral direction in sealed state. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for cooling photovoltaic modules; (2) method for thawing photovoltaic modules; and (3) house with roof.
