The method involves measuring the nutritional value in the area of a near-infrared spectroscopy sensor (10). The measured value is stored in a computer (11), where the running mean value of the measured values is deviated from the mean value in the variation area. A fodder mixer is processed in a mixing vessel. An independent claim is also included for a device for executing the homogeneity determining method.
