The hydraulic clamping system (1) has a housing (2) with a piston (4) displaceably guided into a cylinder (3). The piston and the cylinder together define a hydraulic fluid pressure chamber (8). The hydraulic fluid is supplied from the reservoir (9) through the bottom side of the cylinder based on the adjusting movement direction of the piston. A one-way valve (10) with a control bore (11) is provided in the pressure chamber for attenuating the leakage of the hydraulic fluid from the pressure chamber into the reservoir.
