The arrangement (100) has a support (102) for securing a blade ring carrier (101). A support unit (104) is rested upon a support surface of the support. An eccentric cam bolt (103) comprises a threaded section that is screwed into a corresponding screw thread provided in the blade ring carrier and/or the support unit in such a manner that a relative position between the blade ring carrier and the support unit is changeable by rotation of the eccentric cam bolt. The support surface is arranged in such a manner that a normal of the support surface is tangential with respect to circle. An independent claim is also included for a method for fastening a blade ring carrier to a support of a fluid-flow machine.
