Treating and examining device (1) has a patient table (2) that is supported by a roller bearing assembly (5) about a vertical axis (24) in rotating manner. A disk brake, with a brake rotor disk and a caliper, is provided for locking the patient table in a desired rotational angle position. The brake rotor disk is integrated in the roller bearing assembly.
