The assembly has a cylinder piston arrangement (8) mechanically coupled with a brake pedal (3). Another cylinder piston arrangement (13) is mechanically coupled between the brake pedal and a power transmission device (4). A switching valve (19) hydraulically connects a hydraulic volume of the latter piston arrangement with a pressure reservoir (21). An operating mode, a hydraulic relapse plane and a mechanical relapse plane of the assembly are alternatively activatable by switching position combinations of another switching valve (18) and the former switching valve.
