The device (10) has voltage supplying modules (130-132) and electrical connection parts (140-142) that are connected in series manner, where the modules are connected by connections. Mechanical separating units (150-152) are moved from a rest position to an operative position based on data of an acceleration sensor. The electrical connection parts are separated from the separating units in moving manner and placed in the operative position. The separating units are moved by actuators (160-162) that are designed for movement on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electromechanical way. An independent claim is also included for a method for reducing electrical output voltage values of an electrical energy storage device.
