The method involves arranging carriers (14, 16) as frames in series such that top sides of the carriers are supported along multiple stages (10, 12) running on sides of a substrate, where the frame comprises a diagonally spaced retainer for retaining solar cell modules (18, 20). An aperture of specific dimension is formed in the interior of the frame for monitoring a position of the solar cell modules from exterior of a construction vehicle (26) during arrangement and handling of the solar cell modules. The modules are loaded in stacks along multiple suspension elements (22, 24). An independent claim is also included for a vehicle for handling solar cell modules arranged in rows on a substrate of a solar system.
