The device (1) has a hydraulic system (11) provided with a guiding system (13) for hydraulic transmission of fluid pressure from a transmitter (9) to a wheel brake cylinder (15). A piezostack (17) is arranged in the hydraulic system and designed to vary fluid pressure in the hydraulic system by changing volume of the piezostack. A controller (21) is designed to control the piezostack dependent upon detection of a critical driving condition of a two-wheeler for causing volume change. A sensor (23) e.g. rotary rate sensor, recognizes the critical driving condition of the two-wheeler.
