The device i.e. formfit shift member (18), has two shift member halves (18A, 18B) connected with one another within a region of tooth-type designed elements (18B1E) in a formfit manner. One of the shift member halves partially embraces the other shift member half, where the shift member halves are connected with one another in a region of coupling units (35, 36) by relative movement between the shift member halves. The former shift member half comprises mutually spaced tooth series (18A1-18A3) that are engaged with spaced-apart tooth series (18B1-18B3) of the latter shift member half.
