The active power of electromotor (2) of centrifugal pump (1) is measured and sent to processing unit (6) to compare with active power reference value representing sufficient amount of liquid delivery medium in centrifugal pump. The temperature of component of centrifugal pump is measured and sent to processing unit by temperature sensor (7) to compare with temperature reference value representing one permissible temperature of centrifugal pump. A warning signal is output when measured active power/temperature value is more than active power/temperature reference value.
