The storage device (17) has holding members for hanging a bend end of a printing form, where the storage device runs in a longitudinal direction (rl) parallel to a form cylinder. A single- or multi-part cross member (36) extends in the longitudinal direction over length of the form cylinder, and the holding members are arranged at a distance to each other in longitudinal sides (49) of the cross member transverse to the longitudinal direction. A carrier element (37) is arranged at the cross member. An independent claim is also included for a method for providing printing forms.
