A compensation element (5) is arranged between the supply line and the injector for compensating the freezing pressure in the supply line. The compensation element comprises a chamber having variable volume, where the volume changes if the pressure in the chamber lies above a threshold value. The compensation element comprises an elastic element e.g. spring and compressible fluid.
