The locking device (1) for baffle or blow head mechanism of a glass machine, comprises a guide bush (3) in which a shaft of the mechanism is movably arranged, and a clamping unit. The guide bush is formed between two clamping jaws that are moved away from each other. A gap (7) is formed between the two clamping jaws. The gap and the guide bush are extendable by a pressure fluid such as compressed air so that the shaft of the mechanism is freely relocatable into the guide bush. The gap is extended by an actuating element of the compressed air acted upon by a pneumatic cylinder (8). The locking device (1) for baffle or blow head mechanism of a glass machine, comprises a guide bush (3) in which a shaft of the mechanism is movably arranged, and a clamping unit. The guide bush is formed between two clamping jaws that are moved away from each other. A gap (7) is formed between the two clamping jaws. The gap and the guide bush are extendable by a pressure fluid such as compressed air so that the shaft of the mechanism is freely relocatable into the guide bush. The gap is extended by an actuating element of the compressed air acted upon by a pneumatic cylinder (8). The bolt extends itself through the two recesses of the clamping jaws, and is provided at both ends with a respective flange that is brought in a plant at a radial step of the associated recess. The recesses of the clamping jaws have a diameter greater than the bolt. The spring column or disc spring of the clamping unit is attached with a side at the flange of the bolt and with other side at the clamping jaws. The guide bush is provided with a friction lining.
