The gun (1) has a container (3) for grease, and a plunger (17) moved within an interior of the container for emptying the container. The plunger is moved along length of a container inner space (8) up to bottom of the container inner space. The container is provided with an outlet (13) at the container bottom, which is connected with a pumping device of a grease lubrication system. The plunger comprises a seal (23) that is formed around circumference of the plunger and radially adjusted by an adjustment unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for supplying grease to a consumer by a grease gun.
