The door has a door body (1) comprising a door inner part (2) and a door outer panel (3). A reinforcing element is arranged in a door cavity (4) and connected with the inner part and the outer panel. The reinforcing element is formed by a metal sheet profile that extends within the door cavity along the door. A stable supporting tab (13) is arranged on surface of the metal sheet profile, where a free end of the tab is connected to an inner contour of the outer panel. The tab is integrally formed with the metal sheet profile.
