Method for measuring viscosity of e.g. paint, to measure turbidity and flowability of fluid, involves forwarding positional data of measuring elements to microprocessor unit for evaluation, monitoring and visualization purposes
The method involves stimulating a surface plate by a vibration exciter (11) i.e. piezoelectric vibration exciter, where an oscillation interval is freely selectable in a range from hours to kilohertz. The plate is illuminated by bundled light beams (20, 21). Reflected light beams (22, 23) are forwarded to position-sensitive detectors (18, 19). Deflection of the plate is determined by beam angle of the reflected light beams. The determined positional data of measuring elements (13, 14) is forwarded to a microprocessor unit for evaluation, monitoring and visualization purposes. The measuring elements are designed as metal plates and spring-elastic steel tongues. An independent claim is also included for a device for measuring viscosity of fluid.
