The arrangement has a bearing cage (26) whose grooves (36) are extended in an axial direction (28) or in a radial direction (20), where the grooves guide lubricants i.e. oil. A connecting rod (10) is mounted in the axial direction of a crankshaft of a lifting cylinder machine indirectly over a thrust face (32). A chamfer (42) is provided between the thrust face and a raceway (22) for a rolling member (24) of a rolling bearing (25), where the raceway is assigned to the connecting rod. The thrust face is formed with the connecting rod as a one-piece.
