The compartment has a movable front wall comprising a resilient tensile fabric strip (9). A collection trough (8) is formed in a vertical wall i.e. vehicle wall. The fabric strip partially covers the collection trough horizontally extending with respect to a vertically oriented strip surface. A bottom portion of the collection trough is firmly covered by a covering part (7) for forming a lower tray. A gap (12) is formed between an edge (10) of the covering part and the fabric strip. The collection trough is formed by a plastic trough body.
