The water drain valve (1) has a tubular base (2) with hole (3) in which vehicle component (4) is fixed, which comprises a drain opening (7) with a valve flap (10) at the lower end and inwardly facing pin (9) for drainage line (8) at the upper end. The valve flap closes the drain opening automatically due to the formation of low pressure in the drainage line in the driving operation of vehicle, and opens the drain opening automatically due to increased hydrostatic pressure in the drainage line. The valve flap is made of silicone elastomer or flexible plastic material.
