The element (1) has a resilient spacer piece (9) e.g. hose, for partially compensating variation in pressure of liquid or gaseous medium i.e. aqueous urea solution, in the element. Rigid spacer pieces (5, 7) of the element are closely and firmly connected over an external periphery arranged engagement hook (11). The medium is transported from one of the rigid spacer pieces to the other rigid spacer piece or vice versa, over the resilient spacer piece. A tensioning element comprises an O-ring (15) e.g. elastic O-ring, a spring washer and/or a spiral spring. The tensioning element comprises a vulcanized elastomer shell. An independent claim is also included for an exhaust gas after-treatment arrangement comprising a duct element.
