The method involves applying a transparent sound-absorbing plastic layer on a glass pane. An intermediate layer is inserted between the glass pane and the plastic layer. The glass pane is inserted into a casting tool such that contact surface of the glass pane is maintained in contact with support surface of the casting tool by vacuum force. A polyurethane resin layer is formed on the glass pane. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) composite plate; and (2) method for pre-treatment of glass pane.
