Structural performance of laminated glass plate is still illusive as different researcher present different conclusions from their research. In this paper a modelling technique that simulates the structural response of laminated glass is presented. The proposed modelling technique is also expandable to model the structural response of multi-layered laminated glass plate. Using numerical technique, we looked into the contribution of structural benefit by laminated glass structure in comparison to monolithic glass plate. Interesting discoveries were found; such as structural strength of laminated glass structure is influence by the size of the plate and the contribution of membrane strength for laminated glass is significant.
