The ventilation device has a valve unit that includes an exhaust nozzle (110) provided for creation of airflow in the housing. A light source is arranged in the housing to illuminate airflow releasing region of the exhaust nozzle. Air guiding elements (118,120) in the form of slats are integrally formed in the housing. The valve unit is provided with openings around the exhaust nozzle.
