The unit (10) has contact element structure that is provided at end portion with electrical conduit (28). Another contact element structure is located between end portions. The anchoring region is provided for receiving contact element carrier made of plastic. The anchoring region is provided with sealing portion projected from sealing structure made of polyamide. The sealing structure of the contact element carrier is enclosed by support structure. The support portions of anchoring region are engaged outside of sealing portion. An independent claim is included for housing component for vehicle drive unit.
