The method involves determining the location of positioning system (1) and sending the detection object location information by mobile radio device (3) to evaluation device (4). The location information is converted into a location message. The location message from evaluation device is transmitted to positioning system and is forwarded to the receiver (5) by radio device using EDGEand LTEstandards, transmission control protocol (TCP) or user data protocol (UDP), general packet radio service (GPRS) and high-speed downlink packet access (HSDPA). An independent claim is included for positioning system.
