Converting solid biomass into biogas, comprises introducing the biomass into a container, by means of two screw-form, non-contact crushing of running waves into each other and simultaneously mixing, and then discharging from the container and automatically filling a fermenter (2) with the biomass from the container and emptying. An independent claim is also included for a device for converting the solid biomass into the biogas, comprises a two-stage seed tank and a two-stage solid- fermenter that comprises a fermenter and a main secondary fermenter (3), and a jacket heating system and a conveyor belt for feeding substrate in the fermenter.
