The damping device (10) has a flexible connection unit (50) that is provided between a coupling device (20) and a damping cylinder (30) in which a damping chamber (32) is present. A damping fluid is partially filled in damping chamber. A damping piston (40) is movable inside damping cylinder by rotation of coupling device, such that volume of damping chamber is variable. A damping valve is in fluid communication with damping chamber such that damping fluid is flowed from damping chamber to damping valve, while varying volume of damping chamber. An independent claim is included for driving apparatus of door.
