The ball valve has a handle (20), which is connected with an actuating element within the positioning chamber for moving the actuating element. The handle and the control element have a duct. The duct is open in open condition of the positioning chamber. The duct is provided for an insert in drinking water. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a heating system, which has a heating medium; and (2) a method for filling a heating system with heating medium or for removing heating medium from the heating system.
