A base alloy containing 4 wt.% or more of aluminum, copper and titanium is alloyed, and zirconium (1/2-4 wt.%) is added and alloyed, to obtain aluminum alloy. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) aluminum alloy; and (2) manufacture of aluminum cast.
