The apparatus has a light body emitting blue- or white light, operated in a viewable region and formed as an integral or external component (2). The external component is connected with an optical waveguide (4) such that lighting process takes place inside an electrode. The light body is provided on an internal buffer (10), a reference electrode (8), a diaphragm (9) and a pH-sensitive glass membrane (11) for emitting radiation. A blue light source is located outside a measuring electrode and built in an electrode terminal head (5) or in a nano-pulse unit (14).
