The door (12) has a detection part to detect collision of the door with an obstruction while pivoting the door in a switching position. A door propulsion comprises an electromotor by which the door is pivoted relative to a structure (14) i.e. body, of a motor vehicle (10) in the position. The detection part is integrated in a vertical direction (28) below a board edge (27) of the door. The detection part is received in a cavity between a liner and an outer lining of the door. The detection part contains six sensors that are spaced from each other for detecting the collision at the door.
