摘要

The method involves matching and increasing contact force applanation element (1) with cornea (6). The Goldmann applanation process is applied when maximum pressure value is reached in the peripheral pressure sensors (7P) of applanation element, so as to determine Goldmann intraocular pressure. The true intraocular pressure is computed from pressure measured by central pressure sensor (7z), and is corrected based on biomechanical properties of the cornea.
