The parts (3a-3d) have a lighting device (11) for illuminating an inner space of a vehicle over an uncoupling region (18). The lighting device comprises a light source (12) and a light conductor (13), where light is spatially uncoupled in the uncoupling region. The conductor forms an undetachable, integral part of the part and is integrated into a base body of the part during molding the part using an injection molding process. The body is completely formed by the conductor and/or light conductor material (130) that comprises transparent and/or translucent light conductive thermoplastics. An independent claim is also included for a method for providing a pillar covering part in a vehicle.
