The mobile terminal (1) has a connection socket that is formed in the bottom portion (9) and engaged with an upwardly projecting plug (8) formed in a docking station (2). The terminal bottom portion is formed with a projection (11) between the terminal rear surface (12) and the connection socket. The projection is made to fit into the upwardly open recess (13) in the docking station, when the terminal is placed on the docking station.
