The inflatable drinking vessel (1) has a circumferential side wall (3) provided with an inner and an outer membrane sleeve (15,17). A space between the inner and outer membrane sleeve is filled with air such that the side wall obtains increased rigidity. A base element (5) limits inner volume in direction of lower ends (13) of the side wall. The inner volume is surrounded by the side wall. A circumferential drinking edge (9) is made of rigid material and provided at an upper edge (11) of the side wall. The circumferential drinking edge surrounds an opening (7).
