摘要

The torch has a burner head (10) that is provided with anode (16) and cathode (11) for creating an arc portion (L). A gas conduit (12a) is provided for supplying ionizable gas into arc portion and nozzle (13). The plasma jet created in arc portion is passed through nozzle during the operation of arc portion, so as to impinge on workpiece and remove the material. An arc manipulator (17) is provided for generating magnetic field and electromagnetic field. The spatial position of arc portion along the circumference of ring anode is varied by magnetic field or electromagnetic field. An independent claim is included for method for machining on workpiece.
