The trough (10) has a base part (1), and an accommodation opening (2) provided between front sides of the base part. The opening accommodates fluid flowing within an interior of the base part, and is aligned to a fibrous-web-treatment element e.g. roller, where the fluid flow is conveyed from the fibrous-web-treatment element. The base part is made of channel composite and formed as a support structure or a trough structure for a fluid flow-discharge unit i.e. scraper (20). A trough-like inner surface (4) of the base part is made of dirt-repellent material.
