The structure (10) has a flexible support (3), a reflective layer (2), and a thin glass sheet (1) attached on the support that is adapted to be deformed so as to form the thin glass sheet. The support is formed by a composite material composed of fibers embedded in a resin, where form and/or nature and/or thickness of the fibers are selected according to a value of expansion coefficient of the sheet. Mechanical characteristics of the support are given such that a neutral line of deformation in inflection of the structure is positioned at an interface of the sheet and the support. The fibers are glass fibers and/or carbon fibers and/or fibers of aramide and/or vegetable fibers. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a solar energy concentration device.
