The supply has capacitors (109a, 109b) for smoothing ripple voltage wave forms that are output by power converter switching circuits (107a, 107b). A cooling water channel is provided in a metal casing, and radiates heat that is produced in transformers (105a, 105b), the power converter switching circuits, choke coils (108a, 108b) and the capacitors. Inverter switching circuits (102) and the power converter switching circuits are arranged directly above the cooling water channel when the transformers are arranged parallel to longitudinal direction of the cooling water channel.
