The reservoir has a tank interface (105) arranged at a hollow body (101) for supplying energy. A tank flap (102) is pivotably mounted at the body for occupying a closed position, an open position and a transitional position. The body has a light source (103) i.e. LED, illuminating the reservoir, where the light source is formed as a light ring around the interface. A tank level sensor differentiates the closed position of a transition and/or the open position of the tank flap. The light source is activated by a control unit when the tank flap occupies the transition position or open position.
