Compressed gas system, manual valve arrangement and manual valve piston with isochoric, thermal isolation zone

Manual valve pistons, manual valve assemblies which include the manual valve pistons, and pressurized gas systems which include the manual valve assemblies are disclosed. A manual valve piston for sealing a pressurized gas line can comprise a head section, a sealing section and a shaft section between the head section and the sealing section. When the manual valve piston is in a line, a gap is defined between a locking collar of the head section, which gap allows pressurized gas to be enclosed in an isochoric, thermal insulation zone adjacent to the shaft section. The isochoric, thermal insulation zone protects sealing rings seated in the sealing section from extremely cold compressed gas which is introduced into the compressed gas system. The manual valve arrangements include a manual valve piston which is coupled to a coupling body. The pressurized gas systems include a fuel storage canister, a refueling port, internal lines, and a manual valve assembly located in one of the internal lines.
