The method involves providing fiber array for continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic semi-finished product without matrix material. The fiber array impregnation without matrix material with liquid medium such as silicone oil, or wax having viscosity corresponding to viscosity of matrix material in molten state is performed. The impregnated fiber assembly made of multi-ply fabric, braided fabric or knitted fabric is subjected to material testing process, and material test procedure is executed under test conditions that meet test of thermoplastic semi-finished product.
