The coupler (10) has a difference image unit (8) guided from a bus line (4) and an intermediate circuit voltage line (7) of lines (22, 23). An analog to digital converter (9) is connected to an input side with the image unit over a line (21). A digital control unit stays in connection with the converter at the input side. A current value limiting unit (11) and a current-rise limiting unit (12) are assigned to the control unit. A digital to analog converter (13) stays in connection with an output of the current-rise limiting unit and with a bus power supply (14) at an output side.
