The method comprises transforming a semi-finished product in a tool comprising heatable and coolable portion during transformation, and cooling a heatable portion by a cooling medium on a predetermined target temperature. The cooling medium is a compressed air, a liquid medium and a fluid, where the compressed air, the liquid medium and the fluid are conducted between two reforming processes on a surface of the heatable portion. A flow rate, a volumetric flow rate, and/or a temperature of the cooling medium are selected in dependence on a temperature of the heatable portion.
